Please read these rules before entering the "Smart Rider Contest" (the "Contest"). By submitting an entry, you agree to be bound by these rules and represent that you satisfy all eligibility requirements.

Who Can Enter

1. Entrants must be legal State of Wisconsin residents who are 18 years of age or older.
2. Employees of Local TV LLC and Southeast Wisconsin Transit Systems (collectively, "Cosponsors"), their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members of each are ineligible.

How To Enter

1. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Only one entry per person. The Contest begins at 8 a.m. CT on September 8, 2008, and all entries must be received by 12 a.m. CT on October 13, 2008.
2. You may enter the Contest by submitting your entry online or by mail.
3. If entering online, go to www.YourOtherWheels.com or www.myfoxmilwaukee.com and click on the Contest icon and follow all instructions to complete the online entry form. The essay should specify why the entrant is a "Smart Rider" and must be between 50 to 200 words.
4. If entering by mail, submit a 3" by 5" card identifying your name, street address, city, state, zip code, e-mail address (optional), date of birth and daytime telephone number and your essay specifying why, in 50 to 200 words, you are a "Smart Rider" to Southeast Wisconsin Transit Systems, c/o Versant, 11414 W. Park Place, Suite 202, Milwaukee, WI 53224, Attn: Smart Rider Contest.
5. Your essay must be your original work, may not have been published previously or infringe any third-party rights, and must be suitable for publication (i.e., may not be obscene or indecent).
6. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, altered or tampered with or not submitted in accordance with these rules are not eligible to win. The Cosponsors reserve the right, at their discretion, to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these rules or to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
7. By entering the Contest, you assign and agree to assign to Cosponsors all intellectual property rights in the entry materials, if any. Except where prohibited by law, by entering the Contest you consent to the use of your name, likeness, photographs, address and entry for online posting and/or any advertising and publicity without additional compensation. By entering the Contest, you give your express permission to be contacted by the Cosponsors by telephone, e-mail and/or postal mail regarding the Contest.
8. Cosponsors are not responsible for any late, lost, damaged, illegible, incomplete, postage due, returned or misdirected entries. Cosponsors are not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive any entry from an entrant or Contest information from Cosponsors for any reason whatsoever. Cosponsors are also not responsible for any injury or damage to any entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any Contest materials or for entries that are late, misdirected or incomplete. By entering the Contest, you forfeit all rights to your entry; your entry becomes the property of Cosponsors and will not be returned or acknowledged. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF THE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE Cosponsors RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Cosponsors reserve the right to cancel, modify or suspend the Contest if it cannot be conducted as planned for whatever reason.
9. Six (6) semifinalists will be selected by a panel of judges comprised of individuals from Southeast Wisconsin Transit Systems and Versant (Agency for Southeast Wisconsin Transit System). Semifinalists will be selected based on the content and quality of their essays on or about the following dates: Two (2) semifinalists will be selected at 12 noon CT on September 29, 2008. These semifinalists will be notified by e-mail or phone on or about September 29, 2008. Two (2) semifinalists will be selected at 12 noon CT on October 6, 2008. These semifinalists will be notified by e-mail or phone on or about October 6, 2008. Two (2) semifinalists will be selected at 12 noon CT on October 13, 2008. These semifinalists will be notified by e-mail or phone on or about October 13, 2008.
10. One (1) grand prize winner will be randomly selected from the six (6) Semifinalists on or about October 20, 2008. This grand prize winner will be notified by e-mail or phone on or about October 20, 2008.
11. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an online entrant, online entries will be deemed to have been made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by the Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (such as a business or educational institution) which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the e-mail address. Cosponsors may at any time and in their sole discretion require proof that you are the authorized account holder of your e-mail account.

The Prize(s)

1. Each of the six (6) semifinalists will receive a gift card to Amazon.com. The approximate retail value of each semi-finalist prize is $250.00. The grand prize winner will receive a personal PC, worth approximetly $1,500 The approximate retail value of all prizes to be awarded is $3,000.00. All prizes will be awarded. Standard ground, domestic shipping is included with each prize.
2. Semifinalists will be required to complete, sign and return a Certification of Eligibility and Release within 3 days of the date of notification or they will be disqualified. If a semifinalist cannot be reached, is ineligible or does not return the Certification of Eligibility and Release within the designated time period, the semi-finalist prize will be awarded to an alternate selected by the criteria listed above.
3. If the grand prize winner cannot be reached, the grand prize will be awarded to an alternate selected by random drawing from the remaining semifinalists.
4. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items by the winners. The winners cannot assign or transfer a prize. Cosponsors reserve the right to substitute a comparable prize of like or greater value, including cash, for any prize, for any reason.
5. The winners are solely responsible for all local, county, state, and federal taxes and fees on prizes based on the value of the prizes set forth in these rules.
6. Only one prize will be awarded per household. Individuals are eligible to win only one prize within any 30-day period, regardless of the number of contests entered. Each winner must claim his/her prize by October 31, 2008 or the prize will be forfeited.
7. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.

1. These rules are available at www.YourOtherWheels.com and www.myfoxmilwaukee.com through October 20, 2008 and Monday through Friday during normal business hours at WITI, 9001 N. Green Bay Road, Milwaukee, WI 53209 through October 20, 2008.
2. Cosponsors reserve the right to change these rules or cancel the Contest at any time, at their discretion.
3. For a list of prize winners, send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope after October 17, 2008, but before October 20, 2009, to: WITI, 9001 N. Green Bay Road, Milwaukee, WI 53209.
4. This Contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law, including without limitation, in jurisdictions requiring registration, filing, trust account, or posting of a bond, or any other requirements or disclosures that are not expressly satisfied by these rules. Cosponsors are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, offering, or administration of the Contest, or in the announcement of the prize.
5. By entering the Contest and/or accepting any prize each entrant (a) represents that he/she is eligible, (b) agrees to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the Cosponsors, which are final and binding in all respects, (c) agrees to release Cosponsors and their respective parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contest and with the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize (including, without limitation, claims costs, injuries or losses related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light), and (d) agrees to Cosponsors’ use of entrant’s personal information as described in the Privacy Policy located at www.myfoxmilwaukee.com.
